The University of Manitoba Matcha Club (UMMC)
The purpose of our club is to create a welcoming community for students and matcha enthusiasts — a space where members can come together to appreciate matcha while exploring its cultural roots and traditional preparation.
We strive to create a community where students of all hobbies and interests can come together, socialize with friends, and build new friendships that last throughout their time at university. Our long-term goals are to deepen the community’s knowledge and love for matcha, share tips and guidance, host interactive workshops, and collaborate with local cafés to bring the matcha experience to more people.
